A few weeks ago Team Ready took Geneva by storm. An action packed weekend saw us climbing, escaping rooms and failing to dive around the beautiful city of Geneva.

The day of the trip dawned bright and sunny. Everyone in the office was excited and once we had located Shane’s sunglasses, we were on our way to the airport.
Saturday morning tensions were running high as we split into two teams. We headed to The Mind Escape where we chose to tackle the Ancient Pyramid and Bank Robbery rooms. The Bank Robbery team managed to escape first with their case of gold, the Ancient Pyramid team having been held up by an elaborate code to escape the final part of their room.
We ate lunch on the Paquis Lake Promenade and in the afternoon we headed to Geneve-Plage to sunbathe and swim and fail at diving. Lots of diving fails. Mostly from Lloyd. And jumping in fails. Mostly by Ellie.
After an action packed afternoon we headed back to the hotel to get changed for our evening meal, which was at the Restaurant Les Armures in the Old Town for cheese and meat fondue.
Sunday morning we met early and had breakfast at the hotel before heading out of town to climb Mont Salève. It took us two hours to reach the top and the views were absolutely spectacular.
After the climb, we took the cable car back down the mountain and went back into the city to have a burger at Holy Cow. A few of us headed down to the lake to soak our tired feet in the cool water before our transfer back to the hotel.
A very tired Team Ready boarded the plane that evening with lots of swiss chocolate to take home with us.
