Last year, we produced a set of ‘Kidmojis’ for baby and toddler food brand Kiddylicious. We gave emojis a family life makeover including crying babies, tired-looking parents and the nutritious Kiddylicious ingredients.
With parenthood captured in emoji form, we wanted to do something fun. That brought about the Kiddylicious Kidmoji Lottery.
Parents could select combinations of 3 Kidmojis that represent their family story and enter them into the lottery. Each day Kiddylicious then selected a Kidmoji combination to win.
Last year’s campaign was incredibly successful, dramatically increasing user engagement.
So, this year we’ve relaunched the campaign in time for Valentine’s Day. Running from February 7th to the 14th, parents can once again create a Kidmoji story of their experiences for the chance to win daily prizes.
We’ve added six new Valentines themed Kidmojis so the family realities of romance can be properly expressed as well.
The early numbers have looked fantastic with over 1,000 plays within the first few hours. As we’ve seen with so many of our promotional campaigns, introducing a little creative thinking into an online competition can really boost engagement.
We’ve got more tactical Kiddylicious campaigns in the pipeline for later this year, so we’ll keep you posted!
