Welcome to the latest Beauty in Brief, our fortnightly round-up of the latest news in beauty technology and marketing.
This week, Anna Sui has teamed up with Perfect365, Sephora are offering beauty classes to cancer patients and unicorns are taking over the world! Well, the beauty world…
The augmented reality beauty app is teaming up with Anna Sui cosmetics to offer four Anna Sui makeup looks, two of which are perfect for Spring and two which were inspired by the A/W ‘17 catwalks.
To celebrate, Perfect365 are offering users the chance to win $200 worth of Anna Sui cosmetics by posting a selfie of themselves trying any of the Anna Sui looks.
If you want a Unicorn horn, then this ASOS Mystical Unicorn Headband will be just up your street. Or perhaps these Tarte Unicorn Makeup Brushes are more your thing? Even Christian Louboutin is jumping on the Unicorn wagon with this fancy Unicorn Nail Polish.
But according to this article from Jezebel, the Unicorn trend might be a dark sign of the times.
Sephora are building on their beauty confidence classes for women going back to work, which launched last October, and are offering free beauty classes for cancer patients. Sephora offers their free Brave Beauty in the Face of Cancer classes in stores across the U.S., for men and women whose skin and hair have been affected by cancer.
They have also turned their largest U.S. store into a Beauty Tip Workshop, with the Tip standing for ‘teach, inspire, play’ to pay homage to the interactive technology in the store.
