Welcome to the latest Beauty in Brief, our fortnightly round-up of the latest news in beauty technology and marketing.
This edition features bareMinerals’ new BAREPRO liquid foundation, a new natural skincare range and a gender-fluid fragrance from Guerlain.
bareMinerals have released an athleisure foundation that is heat, humidity, water and sweat-resistant and even improves the condition of the wearer skin. It has 24-hour coverage that blurs pores and imperfections and has thirty different shades.
The Clean Beauty Co, a brand that was established when the founders wrote a book on how to make your own beauty products, has released a new skincare range. BYBI (which stands for By Beauty Insiders) is still small, it only consists of three products, Babe Balm, Priming Polish and Detox Dust. Two more products including a luxury serum are due to launch this Autumn.
Guerlain‘s latest scent celebrates an attitude that is breaking free from traditional divides and shaking up stereotypes. Lui is a perfume for what is described as the “New Gender Order” and celebrates gender fluidity and non-conformity. The fragrance was created by Delphine Jelk under the creative direction of Thierry Wasser. It features top notes of clove and pear and a dry down of leather, vanilla, musk and smoky notes.
